LOL what you just said is laughable. I am personally a recreational soccer player and have never played football. There is WAY LESS contact in soccer than there is in football. I DONT CARE if the players are ARMORED UP in gear there still hitting each other! One its not even close the number of concussions or serious injuries in football compared to soccer (wonder why!?) And second half the contact in soccer is called by the referree and any time you do attempt contact the other player dives drawing the damn foul! AGAIN i love soccer but you gotta respect football at least in the CONTACT category, your far off here!
-and btw soccer players are def in better running shape/ have more stamina than football players but only bc there sport requires it, much like football requires you to be bigger. (i know there are some small football players, but lets be honest in general you need to be bigger to play!)
sport sucks......=PP

Zab, you are demonstrating that I was absolutely correct when I asked if your only professional soccer viewing experience is the World Cup. FIFA, UEFA, and the English FA have made serious efforts to cut down on the diving over the last 5 years and it has significantly improved the games. Players like Luis Suarez are blasted by the British media for being divers. Diving is known for being a problem with South American, Spanish, and until recently, Italian players. This is in large part due to their style of play and lack of physical stature.
