"Pot Smokers" Question

I haven't smoked MJ in over 20 years and have no plans to go back. After 15 years of everyday smoking, I just got to the point where I didn't get high anymore, I just got "Stoned". This thread isn't about the pros or cons of smoking pot. It's about cost.

My question is how much does it cost at retail now days. What's the price for pound, ounce and quarter ounce ? I know that it will vary depending on the area of the country you live in.

After a few hours I'll come back and let you know how much the going price was back when. When I started, it was just Mexican pot. Then they sprayed down there. So the start of the Hy-bred plants began. Don't worry I'm not the DEA.. ROFLMAO

Now 5:00 PM

Okay,,, when I started smoking (which was when the "Dead Sea" was only sick) Mexican, which was almost all you could find,,, $90 a pound and $10 an ounce. Later $900 to $1100 a pound,,, $100 to $120 an ounce,,,, $40 a quarter for a very "higher" (LOL) grade.

I smoked last night, it was enjoyable =)

and are you talking about reggie or loud which is like dro and kush etc.

I been smoking that long prices change I still smoke both mexie and hydro still pay bout 40 ounce of regie and 250 to 300 for hydro per ounce

medical here in mich is about $200 or more an once my wife is legal here and she get some pretty good stuff for $120.00

we pay $250 a half

pound = 4-5k
oz = 270-350
quad = 100-120

At least those are the rates by me. May be cheaper for states that decriminalized or have medicinal.

friend of mine who grows it can get $350 and he's allowed to have 10 plants at a time legal states are pretty cool lol

Didn't mean to pis you off,, just wanted to try and keep it on the cost. Sorry... The reason I started the thread was I was watching a show on the Current TV station on growing pot in CA. It was saying $3,000 a pound and I was wondering if it had gone up that much.

in ohio here i get oz for about 120 1350 a pound
just reg

regular weed= $500lb, $45oz, pretty trashy but sales to your avg smokers
midgrade= $1200lb, $100oz, better than reggie, but still few seeds and not medical grade
hydro= $3000lb, $300 oz, $100 7grams, $15-20 gram, the best, no seeds sticky, and you can just smell the difference... def worth the extra money if ya have it :)

the prices are different everywhere for different strains but no matter what, its very obvious that the prices are much more expensive today than ever...

maybe a lil cheaper than around 9/11

but def way more expensive than the 60s 70s

I suspect prices to come down a tad since we went recreation legal recently

I really only like indica and at very small hits...I hate being too high and never, ever wanna be stoned...
I just like a happy and mellow body relaxer

ima mid grade smoker and pay 80 oz like close to mexico so its a lil cheaper

i wish i could still smoke but for some reason i can smoke a pack or more of ciggs a day and not have a prob but about 25 years ago i smoke a joint and it set of asthma attack and ever since it's been like that thinking about trying edibles

wow wagon i remeber the $10 ounce days haven't smoked my self in around 10 years like you probably never will again

sounds about right, that's the going prices for the decent stuff out here in new jersey...lower end of the ranges if you've got the good connect (less middlemen adding their taxes)...i was happy getting my oz's for 290-325 depending on the quality when i'd pick up...i had the good connect, and i always kept everyone happy on my end as well =)

if your just getting reggie/50 it should be from
80-100 bucks an oz..
40 a quarter
1k a lb.

now the indica is what im talking about...finally some1 who knows wtf they are talkin about...people still smoke regs? i used to buy like 7 grams for $20 bucks haha.... ewww i wouldnt put anything but fire in the lungs!!

I remember in the 70's when a good ounce of alcupolco gold was $10... and better not have many stems and seeds... Now I see grams of KB go for $20... and you barely get a good joint out of it.... what's the world coming to?

I have never smoked MJ and hopefully never will. But what I do know is the prize of it. Here in finland (northern Europe) 1g (gram) costs 15euros. I don't really know is it high or low for one gram. Lol

damn those prices are crazy i pay $60 for a quarter and $100 for a half but im guessing those are east coast prices
