ya should send a letter to sentry. they are made in rochester NY(where I live) and I work at International paper( who makes the boxes the safes are sold in) Sentry safes are the best in saving stuff from REGULAR fires, But keeping it in an OVEN, and turning it ON should be a GREAT selling point. ya could be FAMOUS:D
oh i totally thought u were going to say open the oven and there was some gas problem and a giant flame came out at ya.
well, thats what happened to me hahah. burnt eyebrows and hair, thought i lost it all. didnt want to touch it or look at it. luckily, i was ok.
btw may want to hide your safe in another place now.
