lets keep in mind im not talking about myself here. i know im a moron. i lose my $$$ in the bcp casino every week. if id stay away from there id be fine and have a decent BR to play a few games daily. go look at the market n check the stake threads. i dont lose a ton for stakers.

now on to the point. pokerowned has a few decent players around but every single one of them is a degen player. ive watched ppl win 30-120$ in a given night and 2 days later theyre broke???? how do you do that unless youre in the casino like me, or losing sportsbetting for ridiculous amounts. if you are just playing poker day after day then you need to seriously consider quitting the game.

with bcp having a ton ofr 3 hour late reg tourneys a person should be in 1-3 games a day on a normal basis, if theyre any good, because theyll be going deep in the tourney or tourneys theyre playing. if you lose 80-100 a day on tourneys only and min cash 1 you are not doing very well.

I agree with you, there are a lot of degens here that do bink a nice win and then are broke the next day. On the other hand there are also a lot of people with solid rolls on here who are able to maintain them.

IKR.... whole OP reeks of jealousy. Tommy, I am going to be very nice when I say this, but you really aren't a good poker player. Your poker theory is very bad bro. I would encourage you to take a week and study things like ranges, fold equity, nash shoving/calling ranges, and other sundry things. Now lets talk about what you are really getting @ in your thinly veiled jealous OP. First off, I have run less than 20 games for Poke, and the first day I made a FT in an $11 mtt and lost QQ<99 and 55<AQ, and still got 8th for $110. The past 2 days were filled with bad beats and silly BS. I am less than $100 in MU, and could easily have shipped that $11 score for 1k if not for run bad late. Thats why you get staked, so that you can ride the variance wave till you score some wins. As far as Jay and DK12, they have not had any real scores yet, but they have just started and play a more high variance style. The whole staking operation is going to be fine if we ride it out, and your coming off as so JELLY. You keep playing for your min cashes, and thinking " If it werent for the Casino losses" Prove it bro. Talk is cheap. I would encourage you to play the Carbon PO FRs tbh. Your game isn't nearly as good as you think it is. I can think of players like Jay,DL12, myself, Creds, Pray4Spades, WEC, JDS, and a few other that I would stake over you. There are 3-5 players in the PO Carbon FRs who are more +ev in games than you. Your game theory is awful man. I wouldn't be so harsh, but it really is clear in your OP that your JELLY because Poke is staking Jay/DK12/ and myself and not you. Bro I have made almost $70 in 10 days alone off Carbon PO FRs. Why more people including you aren't playing these games is beyond me. Even if for nothing else that WD'ing the $$$ to Depo on another site you prefer more. Trust me Tommy its not the casino thats your only leak. I wouldn't have said anything, but you really rub me the wrong way quite often. There are easily 10 players on PO that are better than you Tommy, so get over yourself.

Well this is a BR building site last time I checked. So what exactly are you expecting? Winning players? Your not a winning player, and who cares if a bunch of people here play poker and lose. You come across as a dick head telling people they should quit playing poker if they play day after day and lose. And LOL you weren't referencing the whole POKE staking operation thats clearly in the market. Sure, thats believable. What pray tell were you referencing in the market that had you so worked up you felt the need to create a thread? FWIW, 90% of the stakes in market, including stakes that you have given or received are -ev for the backer. 50-50 deals with SB are a joke. The mere fact that most of you guys do these just goes to show how little you really understand the game. Tommy you're a nice guy for the most part, so I wont proceed to poke fun, but get real. I mean you talk about how you should have folded AK OTB when you opened a 20BB stack and the BB raised, or you calling 15% of your stack after an UTG limp and a raise. The limper is going to call and you sandwiched in between the limper and the raiser, which a stack thats super shallow relative to the bloated pot. Then in the next breathe, your asking for stakes into HI5 mtts, including a $33 and $60 mtt. You would get eaten alive bro. In all seriousness though, I think even on BCP your -ev over a $5 BI.

I am sure the guys here are no where near as bad a degen as some on the live tourny circuit. On several occassions I have seen people win in excess of $30K, then by the next day, no longer have enough for the next days buyin. Some end up making themselves give the money won to others (for holding), and make them promise not to give it to them no matter how hard they ask for it back. The saddest was when this guy who struggled for the longest time, always having to beg for buyins, food, lodging, won over 30K, and he lost it all in 1 fucking night of debauchery.
