This is so hard to answer. Are you talking about in an individual hand? Or are we talking about over the long run?
The best hand doesn't always win. The best player doesn't always win. The best player will win more than he will lose thus why he is the best. The best hand is only good in the hands of a good player. Frequently below average players (and occasionally the best players) lay down the best hand. That's what is so great about poker. You can force people to give up with you way behind. It's the ultimate underdog story.
At showdown though, the best hand always wins. Unless you having a stupid dealer, or play on Carbon. LOL JK.

I would say best player but best hand helps and long as you dont get donked by the worst player or worst hand.

As Doyle says in his book " a good player cant beat you without ever looking at his hand". But that is meant to be against skilled players, in the micros online best hand will lose alot more often because of the talent level and people not knowing how to fold LOL

A good player. They can win more pots with any two cards, lol. That is in the nosebleeds folks. No one here is going to bluff anyone off a hand in the freerolls or small buyins.....
While i agree with best player winning in the long run i dont think annette has the skill level of ivey,brunson,durr,hansen etc etc..... Guys like that Never play there cards, well they do but they are playing the player and with the 4 i mentioned you can rarely put them on a hand anyways lolQuote:

In the short term the best hand wins. Look at the WSOP ME, the best players rarely make the final table. But they win in the long term. Anybody can play good cards; it's what you do with the other cards that make the difference.Quote:

I think that it depends... even the best player can loose due to some bad luck. But even the worst player can win a large sum of money. But I wold say that the best player will be probably more often one of the top players than the lucky player.

If I always get the best hand vs the best player, I like my chances.
I'll have to say yhe best player . Sometimes the amount of chips behind the player is the most important when u play a good hand.
