What percent of poker players turn a profit playing poker
heres another goon that post what his title says and never comments after replys, so go kick rocks
I would guess that the number is less than 10%. OFC everyone will tell you they are a slight winner/ B.E player.
I'd say 10-20%
OFC "I" will tell you "I" "am" a slight winner/ B.E player.
online the profit percentage is probaly very low. too many players for the profit ratio to be high. just my thoughts.
The chance of turning a profit is 50%.
Either you turn profit, or you don't.
50%.
I would say a small amount that really make a good profit. I wouldnt count having a profit of a dollar or something just above breaking even as a profit.
I'd say 5% or less can actually make a living with a good balance between poker and life.
You are just asking the question? Why not do some research and let us know the answer. i would guess not many, though.
26.342% turn profit or some where in about that area just a guess i could be way wrong
Ima say around 22 to 23%. Remember Good BR management can help u reduce your losses, but requires discipline.
30%%%% for me ! ! ! :)
yeah have to say 5% because of times for withdrawal
bankroll management most important i'd say about 5% so you can manage
lol 50% that was funny needed a laugh...
If people didn't ever turn a profit then why would they keep putting money in?
We'll assume you're asking questions to decide whether or not you want to make money off poker.
Here's my advice.
Play first, a lot. Get a feel of the game. Then read. Anything and everything and try to incorporate new ideas. Never stop learning. Knowledge will always give you an edge over your opponents. At first you will lose. Then you might win. Then you'll probably lose it all. Then you'll find the common ground, the poker money trade. Then you'll need to develop past that.
A better question would be...
What percentage of threads created by the OP, does the OP actually respond to, read, or even care about really?
2%-5% at best....Not many players make profit in poker....just a lot of donating happens in poker really
I would imagine it is under 10%; but it very well could be as low as 5%. It's funny how many people say they are break-even players. I imagine 30% of players are big losers, 10% winners, 20% break-even players..... 40% marginal losers. The rake is more difficult to beat then you probably imagine it to be.
I have no idea,,, I'd guess 15 to 20 %..... got to remember profit doesn't mean doing it for a living.
I think the percent is probably pretty low, especially on-line. Many people just play for fun and aren't really worried about turning a profit.
Since noone wants to believe what i had to say heres the link to what i already told you.
