I had one the other day on lock. Had full house with aces and kings, lost when someone produced the fourth ace, admit I was pretty mad at the time since it put me out of the 50 seats and I was at 78th position.
its what you get everytime you play me
You have to consider at what time e chips went in. At that point you hav?e to see the %age.. I would say when u bet high, but have less than 15% thats a bad beat
My thoughts, a 15% or less would be a bad beat.
A significant exchange in chips while being ahead by 90%+
bad beat is aces full against quads
I would say 19 percent or less is as kk vs qq preflop the kk is about a lil over 81 percent the qq is about 19 percent, thats preflop if nothing comes on flop for qq it drops to about 9 percent on the turn.....
getting the money in way ahead, intentionally, and getting drawn out on. usually for massive amounts of chips
I would have to say a Justin Beiber song...........
this might qualify

that's not to bad, I would have maybe put you on A-K and thought you were c-betting on a whiffed board as I paired my 9 to hit trips..........sucks to lose with A-A but not a Bad Beat, a beat for sure though..........
A bad beat to me is where your opponent only has 1 or two outs left and you already have a big hand. Like a flush or better type of thing.
The scenario you posted is not rly a buad beat, because the majority of chips were pushed in after the flop... If both had gone preflop all in, then it would have been one...
a bad beat to me is anything that beats your fullhouse
The harshest beat I ever took went like this. I had 8 9 spades, my opponent had a king of spades and a blank. The flop was 10 j q all spades. We ended up all in after the flop. The turn was the ace of spades. That wouldn't classify as a bad beat for jackpot issuance at most casinos or online poker sites though, because both players have to use both of their hole cards.
everything is a bad beat when you are on the bubble lol
Bad Beats are terrible, but you have to learn to take them and not go on tilt!
for me a bad beat is generally a 1 or 2 outer along with gutshots, but anytime i lose with better hand(preflop) i feel as tho i got bad beated LOL
bad beat is a full house beat by a four pair
a bad beat is having KKs beaten by KQof
I totally agree with Drywallman, LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Preflop, any bigger pair getting beat by a smaller pair. A bigger ace (AK) getting beat by a smaller ace (AQ, AJ, A10....) Actually any other 3 outer is a bad beat imo (KK losing to AK, JJ losing to A10, etc.). AK losing to J10 shouldnt be considered a bad beat.
Bad beats only happen to good players so don't worry about it. JustSayn.......................................... ...........
Worst bad beat anyone I know have had is AA vs JJ. Flop Axx. AA went all-in on flop and got called by JJ. Turn J, river J. That's a proper bad beat.
AQ vs TJ, all-in preflop, flop KJx, turn another low card, river T. That's not a bad bead, despite my opponent claiming it was.
a bad beat is like yesterday when i got screwed out of a first place tourny cuz A4 beat my A 10
a bad beat is any session on carbon. i don't even have it on my pc anymore.
I think anything beating a fullhouse is considered a bad beat
pocket aces losing to A2 should be considered a bad beat as well
In poker, bad beat is a subjective term for a hand in which a player with what appear to be strong cards nevertheless loses. It most often occurs where one player bets the clearly stronger hand and their opponent makes a poor call that eventually "hits" and wins. There is no consensus among poker players as to what exactly constitutes a bad beat and often players will disagree about whether a particular hand was a bad beat. However if u are real poker player there wont be such a word for u as bad beat
Yeah I see a lot of bad beats, but sometimes it is the chance you have to take, lol
I'll go with the (standard?) BBJ definition of a bad beat: something beat your quad 8s or better. Then I will buy you a beer or three to cry into (except for lilg, who gets warm milk).
A shortstack jams AIPF with AJ, gets called by a deepstack with A5, flops a 5. This is not a bad beat, and does not entitle you to verbally abuse the deepstack for 2 minutes until your chat is turned off. To paraphrase Rick Paterno, act like you've been at a final table before.
anything beating a fullhouse is considered a bad beat
why is everything beating a full hose necessairily a bad beat? couse it is extremely rare to have a higher full house?
a bad beat to me is when someone beats your fullhouse or better
nah, four of a kind or better.
