should you chase a flush if you have 4 suited cards?
so many more variables to consider
you have about a 20 percent chance to hit your flush on the next card so if you are being offered pot odds of atleast 4:1 you should atleast call. example your opponent bets 20 dollars and (with his bet) there is now 80 dollars in the pot. You can call with worse odds if you expect that he will call another bet from you on a later street. If you expect to see more than one card, for example, he is very passive and will almost always check the river if you call his bet on the flop, then you can call again with worse odds. You are like 2.7 to 1 against to hit if you see two cards thats about 37 percent.
if the bet size is 1/3 of the pot or less chase it basically
ill chase with 2 to go but almost never with 1 to go..
on the flop if u have four flush, that means if ur flush is good(exp NUT flush) if in worst case the other guy had a set u have almost 40% of winning by your flush, but on the river u have about 20 percent mux.that means u should alway play flush to the turn, but on the river no.
on the river it is not a firm no,u should consider pot odds and implied odds as well and know what cards ur opponent have to count your outs and make a decent decision .
In my tournament I saw someone did that when I push all in on Turn, so crazy and I won of course. :)
only if its the nut flush id even bet thats its coming u win the pot right there
It depends how much chips you have and if your opponent raises or checks. There's a few other questions a player must answer when in that situatuion
Just keep chasing-its what a lot of ppl do.
alot also depends on the player at the table how they have been playing before i consider anything. Always remember no matter the odds its poker anything can happen
reraise all in and take down the pot
i will chase flushes sometimes if i have the A along with it, most baby flushes i will not chase due to someone else having a higher flush..
70% if i'm see river
The answer is: Chase the flush on Carbon... it almost always hits. :D
Depends on the situation. If it's the nut flush you have to consider it even more.
I will chase a Queen high flush or better given pot odds. Maybe even Jack high, taking into condsideration who is in with me.
lol best thing to do is fold, cause everytime you call on a big raise you miss it and each time you fold you would of catch it=P
That is true. To many people are chasing it
If I was chasin the nut flush and had the right pot odds vs the right player then yes, a lot of variables to consider
surely if you have 9 cards for ....
for me it would depend on how high of a flush draw I have.
alot also depends on the player at the table how they have been playing before i consider anything. reraise all in and take down the pot
With limited information here, I would stay in till the turn at least.
chase what matters
