I like it because it makes the prizepool bigger. If you can get off to a good start you stand a good chance of making a nice cash.
you just have to make it to the rebuy time!!!!!!
I'm not generally a fan of the R/A either but Scottie makes a point, just make it to the rebuy. if you can play tight and win a couple donk hands with nuts, you are in great shape with minimal investment.
They are looser, no doubt about that. I enter them with the expectation that they are a more expensive tourney then what is advertised. A $1 tourney is about the same price-wise as a 3 to 4 dollar freezeout. Don't enter a 1 dollar R/A tourney thinking its only going to be a dollar.
I agree, only promotes donk play....FREEZEouts only for me!!
I don't like rebuy tournaments but I will play in them
i use add-on sometimes and i rebuy only if i don't have other tournament available to register.I prefer freezout tourneys.
I like the 1 rebuy 1 addon Tourneys. With endless rebuys its only Bingo gambling....
I really don't enjoy rebuys, although it's pretty nice winning a rebuy tourney without rebuying or adding on.
I played a hand full of these and this is pretty much the strategy. Double up early and fold fold fold till add on time. I also did this on Stars where I could could use my FPP's in re-buy tournaments. But too answer the question I personally don't like these types of tournaments.
I really dislike re-buy tournies but if i happen to find myself in one i will never and have never re-bought, although if i am in one and it becomes add-on time i may do that occasionally. They are just full of peeps shoving and hoping to win and double up, might as well go play in the casino
it loosen play at the beginning which caries over to after the rebuy stages in many cases which is always good
they r tough tourneys, always have that one donk at the table that pushes every hand and rebuys.....i like to stay patient and think of the game as a regular one and rebuy only if needed but adding on is a must
