Reading and Studying Poker Strategy

First comment is right the books are now outdated its crazy

Good book, just try out a few new things at a time to see if you can fit them in your game.

why do u think they write these books to make everyone play the way they want so the pros an keep winning they dont put there real strats down why would they do that exact reason ive never read a book by a poker player

even the new books r bs to fkk up your game stop reading and play your own way

i would prolly read that one 2 but not let it alter my gameplay

and watch ur balance drop trying to fit someone else strat into ur play wont work even longrun.

I've always valued playing time and experience over reading books

Just try and take concepts from the book, don't alter your entire gameplay based on it (unless you were a losing player before).

I read Doyle Brunson's books decades ago, the problem is that with the advent of online gaming it has changed the game. It has changed the game live as well as the way it is played online, you can still rely on some of the concepts from those books, but you have to adapt or you get left behind.
