if you are good enough
I'd like to work on something I like very much like the poker would be great
As they say, poker is a hard way to make an easy living.
online i have no chance as i cannot get past the bad beats. I dont see how any one can make it online!!
Nope!!!!!!!!!!! played 5 nights a week for almost 10 years and u wont see in 5 nights what u see in 1 sng let alone a turny. Sry folks but 100 hands is 100 hands regardless of how quick you get there.... Compare them sometime ull find it very frustrating the online odds!!.
Well you can't just shove the blame into the online aspect. If that was the case then people wouldn't divest their life's savings(like they do, all the time) on the felt.
Really? seriously? then whos to blame for all the 2 and 3 outers hitting WAY beyond there odds?
online can be very difficult,i try to play smart but between bad choices an bad beats ,i seem to get my ace kicked
but,i have seen alot of sukouts an bad beats playin live also
Couple things you need to remember:
The skills displayed by your opponents will be directly proportional to the buy in.
The sites need the fish to play... esprcially in free rolls and low limit games.
its a grind can be frustrating
play 10 hours per day for 6 months str8 and tell me how fun u think poker is?
and its only a job if u win, lol!
pretty frustrating job if ya ask me ( at times )
Not sure grinding a living at poker would be fun. I enjoy playing but more on weekends, for recreation. I do enjoy live play but it not easy the in how it is done. Normally setting aside 10 to 16 hours to play for a cash table session. If I don't have the time or mindset then it is big waste of my time.
Doing it everyday or making a living forces you to approach it differently to be successful. Not sure I want that at this present time.
i play poker everyday its work but its fun also.
right now for me it's only fun,but o job...you must be real good and real lucky.
Some people live poker .. An example of this is Leopeluca the PokerStar earn much money.
for me, its the best job I can think off ajjaajja
Stressful and dangerous job, I do not offer :o
Nah, ppl who are peronalities and promote the game like Zab have it for a job but unless you go an meet ppl or play the same thing like Sn'Gs with the same ppl, then you can make some money off of it.
The only time I feel like I've earned the money is when there is a showdown with some1 making or breaking their strategy and you crush his stack and go on to win some cash...
Double or nothings are pretty easy... So many ppl folding so u can capitalize very easily.
hmm . not for me. i play poker for fun.
I thinks the poker is a good game, and very interesant I love this game
for some people Poker is a job really . If you bankrolling well you dont need to work : ))
No poker is fun most of the time...........
you must be very good at it for you to do that. and you must be lucky too. still, you should have some savings, just in case :)
poker is a game!)
theres no more fun in poker if its a job. you cant win all the time. granted some people hit that 1 big score but they usualy blow it also thinkin they can just go do it again
if poker were my job i would lose more than win ill stay at my job
If you are very good playing, it can be a work ... but alone pastime
It can be, but jobs are useful and a poker player is useless. I mean what do they give to the world? Just entertainment when you watch poker on TV...
The way I look at it is, is if you're like a player like Isildur1 who wants to be the best in teh world at something, it can be a FUN job. Meaning, there's a lot of fun outlooks found in poker that can make you sweat, but not much---if ever.
I try to cashout my winnings as soon as I win them. I failed this month coz I won $70.00 in a couple of days and I didn't cashout and ended up playing some crappy tourney...
My bankroll is never going to change irl so winning $100 dollars every few days helps a bunch!
Yes, some people do make a living at it, but it certainly isn't easy and I'm sure not nearly as glamours as you might think.
