ya man playing poker is alot of fun and infact is "great" as you have put it, however i believe that the real skill/sport is in playing alot of the other games such as 2-7 triple draw, PLO, Stud, razz and badugi and all of those type of things. A trained monkey most likely could be a porfitable and competent no limit texas holdem player, and like i said the skill lies in being able to master all of those lesser played/known games.
