once you raise with the ace king and people call you the flop comes and you dont hit then dont chase if someone raises it
This is a simple and general long-known fact:) Many young players love to hand the ace of the king and are ready to go through with an ace senior. Remember ace and a king without a pair, not better twos and sevens with a pair. Therefore, if the flop is passed by you, quietly mucked. It's just not your hand.
Well it's all situational..if they have 6bigs behind and you know they are in desperation and have position ... reraise or calling isn't a bad idea. I have had AK on a button nearing the bubble b4 (many of times) and there was a big stack and a shorty.. I am def callin the shorties all in and do a normal 2.5x the big folds and shorty flats ..to shove a low flop (stop n go) I have to call him here. So there are situations where you have to and the people min betting in a multiway pot will get a call from me as well :) I'm new though and a girl so I can get by with it right :P
thats right you never should ever wast of money and tournament life :)
Let em feed the pot I say.
Donkz love the ace rag, ship it to tha hippie .!.
What if my AK is godly and likes to raise?
yea Ace King is always a killer for rooks!!
Any chips wasted when you dont have Card odds(fk pot odds) are chips you wont have for when you could really use them.
It's up to situation - raise or no to, but if I have a choice and my stack is enough big to fold, that's what I do
ppl play AK like its aces mostly .. some do get preety creative tho ..
don't even play AK fold pre flop and move on unless against me go all in
