I plan on making a withdrawal here in the next week or two. I am still alive in the 2 a days promo and am gauranteed @ least $50 free $$$ in bonus $$$. I missed the last two days requirements due to my internet going down. I have 1 free day left and hopefully I can outlast some more people and get even more free $$$. I think that there are 73 people left..... next milestone is 50th place jumps to $75. I think 1 more day and I will make that.
if i could just money in one freebie i would go crazy !!!! lol

I am back to my my Br's peak. It has been up and down, but I put in a 4 hour session to close the night out and it was a 4-6 table grind. That Last Man Standing promo I have been posting about is down to 59 players. 14 players were eliminated today alone. I anticipate another 10-15 players drop out again tomorrow, as the requirements are getting rather intense........ today you had to rake $75. In another day it goes up 2 $100 a day rake. The prizes start to get considerably bigger moving forward, so I hope that I can continue to grow my BR safely, while at the same time play big enough games to keep me in the promotion. Fingers are crossed. The $109 bi-weekly PLO8 mtt is tomorrow, I am hoping to make a deep run. I will keep you all apprised.
I finished another day on Carbon. I didn't grind especially hard today, although I did rake another $75 for the LMS promotion. I see tomorrow starts March's promotion on Carbon. It s called the Chip King Promotion. Basically there are 4 FR's throughout the month. Each week they get larger, culminating in a $5000 FR for the top 50 rake earners throughout the month. If I find some serious motivation I may be able to put a hurting on that promotion as well. I have raked $2370 this month alone.... and it is a short month. I really need to go on a heater so that I can withdraw the max and still have a decent size BR to continue on with. I really/really/really wish that P2P was still available so that I could trade some Carbon for PayPal or GDMP. I am out of skip days in the LMS promotion, so I will play tomorrow out by ear..... not really looking forward to having to rake $100. :(
My challenge is simpler. I just wish to do not go down with my step-by-step built bankroll. I know that is hard to keep balanced because of downswings ... but why not try it ?
My goal is just to get a bankroll again. I cashed out in December and I don't have the money or trust to make another deposit so I'm playing freerolls.
Just finished a tiny little session down $40. This is a no BS thread. I tire of all the "alleged" slightly ahead/break-even player stories. I know most players are not winning online, especially right now with the state of today's games. Don't get me wrong, I was down like $500-$1000 before I got real serious the last 6 weeks. I was planning on making this a 1 month thread , but I am still alive in the 2 a days promotion that is running Feb/March...... + I am now playing in the Chip King promotion on Carbon. CKP is running the whole month of March, with weekly FR's; it all culminates with a $5000 FR @ the end of the month for the most loyal players. I hope I can build the roll up to $5000 by the end of the month. I started Feb off so strongly I thought I could potentially get to $5000 by the end of the month..... I guess that was a little near sighted. I am really generating a lot of rake, which will be nice to redeem here soon. Wish me luck, and the best of luck to all of you. :D
Another day another $. I grinded out $120 rake today. I lost about $30 in the process, so I am close to even...... up a little actually. I didn't play too well today but whatever. In another 2 weeks I am going to reevaluate where I am at and go from there. I really would like to take down 1 of the $109 PLO8 mtt's over the next week or two..... I already have gotten third and made a deep run until I got super-donked. I will win it eventually. I also hope to satty into the 100k soon. A deep run there would be awesome.
Still alive in the LMS promotion, and looking to make a decent amount of $$$ in the Chip King promotion. I also completed the 2 a days promotion. I received 5400 points as part of the new bankroll boosting promotion here @ PO. I am really very pleased with this new addition, as I will soon be selling points for PayPal..... I generate over $100 a day in rake, so if you need points lmk. :D
Great post thread [I]sickread23[I]. As much as I've played online poker over the past 13 years, I'm still amazed at some of the play too. The bad calls, out of pos. raises, all ins, etc. I believe that a lot of questionable play is just is due to the ease of a mouseclick. The higher the stakes, the better the play, more times than not.:) Keep Grinding!
Thanks for commenting itt man. I used to be a mtt fish for several reasons. Recently I switched to cash games and have not looked back. I specialize in lmit08 and stud8 cash games. I started at the very bottom with under $100, and am now @ approximately $3000..... and that isn't including all of the value I have accrued in promotions yet to be realized. Since the beginning of February, I have moved all the way up to playing 5-10 limit mixed games. When I 3-5 table bigger mixed games, breaking even is actually not a bad goal; although I have been winning. I can rake over $100 a day with just a couple short sessions. With vip points exchange @ 35% + high value promotions, I should be cashing out $2500 @ the end of the month and still have another $2500+ to grind with. If all goes smoothly, I won't hesitate to recommend Carbon to anyone. The games @ Carbon are pretty good imo, definitely consideringQuote:

Played a decent amount of poker today. I was pretty tilted with Carbon's glitchy software..... so I started the day poorly. I just finished a 10-20 limit stud8 game that usually doesn't run much. I ran poorly towards the end, but finished the game up +350. I still managed to lose around $40 today..... but with the amount I raked I am actually up. This promotion I am still active in is grueling. I have to rake $100 a day, and it will be going up steadily over the duration of the month. I have narrowed my competition down to 43 players. I really want a top 10 finish, as that is where the prizes start to become serious for me. I banged out 25-30% of Mondays rake requirement, so I will just need a couple mini sessions tomorrow and then a night caper. I will be looking to sell around 25k+ in points in a couple of days if anyone is interested in buying them for either PayPal or GDMP.

It's not luck man, it's a lot of hard work and volume. I have played over 200 hours since February. I am a student, so this pace is kind of wearing me out. I piggybacked today's session off last night's session, so I had all-ready met my rake requirements by 4am est. I am not even going to think about poker until tomorrow. I have been having dreams of certain hands playing out in my head. I am pretty excited about the Chip King Promotion that is running this month. I figure to earn a lot of value in the promotion based on my volume. I also am ggaining more value daily in the LMS promotion. I already have $100 locked up in that. I really think that $400+ is doable. If Carbon runs another sick promotion in April, I might not be able to leave the site. :DQuote:

On a downswing atm. I have had to cut back on the bigger games due to variance. I am going to have to volume up the smaller games and grind for a few days. I mean I still have a roll over $2000 but...... I need 4,000 more vips to redeem for $700. I am kind of in need of a break, but the promo's are keeping me from doing so. Im going to have a monster stack in the Chip King $1000 fr on Sunday.....read up on the promo it's cool. See you all around.
It has been a couple of days since my last post. I pretty much was running as badly as possible, and almost put my BR in serious jeopardy. I know it was built from scratch over the last few months; but it was really stupid of me. I did manage to right the ship so to speak, but I let my emotions get way the best of me. I need $450 more rake to redeem 20,000 points for $700. I also am registered for the Chip King promotion where I have a pretty big stack...... so I have pretty decent ev in that. Im not planning on playing much over the next few days. I hope to satellite into the $215 100k today. If I don't satty into the 100k, I will play a light mtt schedule consisting of the $11 10k, the $33 mini super-stack, the $5 deepstack, and possibly the $109 PLO8 mtt. Im off to bed soon if I can't find any juicy games. I really wish P2P was still availible, I would so love to start a small mtt stable. Maybe when I get my first check and cash it I will open an account on BCP and stake some players in events I think they are +ev. Wish me luck, and see you all around.
I finally have my BR back to it's highest point and beyond. I have just a little under $3000. I have a $150 bonus coming in 7-10 days, + I have to earn only 3000 more vip points for a $700 redeem. So I should be to 4,000 in under 10 days. I really want to play in the Sunday $215, but I'm not sure I am ready for it yet + I don't really wanna lose $215 on 1 mtt. I would really love to squeeze out a couple big checks from Carbon before the summer hits. I really can't even imagine how much money I could be making if I was playing on FT and Pokerstars, but I am content I suppose. I really had to battle some serious tilt issues over the last week..... Yeah I got pretty much raped @ 10 20 stud8. I had AAA1010 and a guy 7th street hit quads. Was like ZOMG. Was for like $600 pot. Then the idiot hit better 2 pair hands with 1 to come like twice. I have $3120.... and have another $150 bonus that I will get when the LMS promotion ends. So that is $3270 total. Pretty sickening as I would be over $4000 if not for total absurdity. I am so mad I might not even log on tomorrow. I started thinking $1000 would be nice...... then $2000 would be nice I thought. Once I got over $3000 I just wanted to get it all. I need a break anyways...... I need to do some schoolwork that I am starting to very slowly fall behind on.
In personal news, I renewed my drivers license online + ordered some boxer shorts online all while grinding so..... @ least I got some stuff done. Man I am really bummed...... I had that fish 2 and he just kept getting lucky. :( :( :( :(
