I'm fairly smart and trying to understand the problem correctly. Maybe you have misunderstood what is happening and what you are supposed to do. I am confident if you either explain it fully here, or try to get a full explaination from Carbon support, you will see what the story is.
Carbon is hardly a scam outfit, but sometimes they make mistakes, and sometimes the customers make mistakes
In reality, live support is not the place for a complex issue. Email support is likely the best way to handle this, if you can keep your cool.
