well Im not sure but the majority of poker players are men!
I have noticed a lot more woman playing at my local casino though!
Women can be good when they use thier image to thier advantage...
I think the wsop womens tournament is bull. Giving women a 90% tournament discount for a shot at a golden wsop bracelet, not cool. It's a sport, it should be even across the board. What will happen though, is this; Enough men will buy into this $10,000 (womens $1000) tournament regardless of the negative EV and win the bracelet anyway.
Don't think Gender matters, there are good players and bad players of each.
Women are more likely to call because they want to see the outcome. I read that somewhere but I forget what book it was.
if you go by po standards the only women that play poker are the ones on deaths door and as a result they will do anything to see a flop
If you are speaking about the male/female gender here playing the PO games..I say "Duh! yes ! But that only applies to 3 others and myself that I respect their game.After playing same guys here,I give props to only 3 that I respect their game.The rest are very lucky playing Q/3 cause it's suited lol. Watch the game and watch these women you will know who who they are,IF you yourself know how to play poker. Frankly thought online poker is rigged !:D
