Knowledge of UNDERSTANDING!.......
WTF? I mean, seriously - you need to understand something. If you make it a habit to just post a random series of words, the mods are going to start rescinding the points you get from posting.
Willingly even, but negative encouragement is the lack of UNDERSTANDING, reasschons aside it was a trap for sparks of ENCOURAGEMENT..."Hi".......
Drunk, 18 months sober on the 8th.......
Retaliate if you want, but its OBVIOUS you wanted to "make" my post a cussing posted thread...I blame you if i get deletions.......
Anywho the rhythms standing points here attract the "Mobs" of gamers rather than intellect...responses of "virtue" here would rather be dived into respect for "One's admiration" of peace stances rather than "ACTUAL RESPECT for KNOWLEDGE STANDINGS" evens......
I think you missed the "POINT" of Hops' reply.... that being you don't seem to have one in ANY of your posts. No retaliation or cuss war... he was just trying to offer you a weee bit of guidance.
Grab a corner of a clue, lift it up, and see what you mind find there.
Knowledge is power
Once u get poker I dont think its good to overthink things i think gut instinct is most important. And knowing the different strategys to different games u can take in all the knowledge u get from all over but when it comes down to it u have to Have your on style of play.
0only thing that takes time is boiling water....that shit takes forever/// try it
I agree with Willy, sometimes knowledge can hurt you in poker because in poker there are different levels of knowledge. For example, if you know a player open shoves with middle pairs you can call him with any 20 blackjack hand. However, if he knows you know that then he could trick you into overcalling with a mediocre hand by open shoving with A's. Then on the third level, if you know he knows you know that then when he open shoves you can range him on any mid to big hand allowing you to fold hands like 8's, 9's or possibly 10's. And this progressive level of thought continues and is what makes poker so interesting. If a player thinks two levels ahead of you then he could be thinking right into your hand and make the wrong move because he overthought. So as much as I agree knowledge is power, it's not just about the knowledge you have, but whether you can use it in proper context as well.
asian is knowledge
Knowledge is power power is knowledge and without knowledge power is useless
I think it's important to learn the theory behind things, but since there is so many different situations in poker, you gotta play a lot of hands in order to learn how to apply that knowledge. The difference between a scientist and an engineer.
you can play poker your whole life and still learn something everytime you play
