If I had to use the money, I would play some of the $1000 and $1500 while playing cash on the side. Hopefully I would win some and end up playing the main event while still having some good $ in my pocket. Then ship the main lol

i would play the smaller tourneys and live it up vegas style
Vegas or Atlantic City for sure and I would get in a WSOP ring tournament $1000 buy-in and live it up with the rest in Vegas, go see a UFC fight, then hopefully walk out of the casino with a new ring and a lot more than $10k in prize money. :)
Main Event most def. I would love to play the Main Event. If that idiot Jamie Gold from Long Island can win it....anyone can.
I would play the smaller tournaments. I probably would enter some of the smaller field games like Stud or Omaha. I would be playing side cash games too. As someone pointed out, they are uber fishy when the WSOP is running.
I would also buy some powerball tickets.

Since you are under the premise of staking, you should play smaller buy-in's increasing your odds of cashing, this way you may pay back your stake and likely have change left over to play in sats to larger buy-ins'!

Take the free trip to Vegas, then call up a couple friends to join me. Will take the 10K and use a few thousand to hit up the strip clubs, bars, fine restaurants, crap tables so all can have a good time. Of the other 8K or so will put 4K in a safety box, and use the other 4K for sats into the ME, sats into smaller events, and cash games 1/2 1/3 2/5 NL
4K left for me either way :)
