Hit another Royal Flush today.

I think this is like the 6th or 7th Royal I've hit playing online, how is this possible? I asked on another site for people to estimate how many hands I've played since 2006. The answer I got from most people was between 2 and 3 million hands. I play 8 to 10 hours a day almost everyday, three to four tables at once.

I'll never forget my first one, it was on PokerStars, I called my Nephew to watch (he was playing on a different table) and guess what, I timed out. It has to be somewhere near the top of the "Dumbest" things I've ever done.

This is gonna sound dumb, but are all of these in holdem? I ask because i play a lot of omaha and i saw 5 in one week.

All in Hold'em ,,, very seldom play Omaha.

Congratulations. Royals can seem more common by the amount of play that you put in. I think they're more common in the Omaha games.

That's a great story about timing out while you were calling your nephew!

lol I have only hit 1 royal in my 8 years of online and it was in my first 6 months playing play chips on Stars lol congrats wagon sir!!!

Always nice to hit that monster, whether the pot is huge or not LOL Ive had 3 online and 2 in live play

On the contrary, I would be pissed to hit a royal in a nothing pot. Odds are you might never have one again and you earned nothing with it. But I'm a pessimist.

I have played for 10 years and have hit one or two. problem is i have lost more money chasing them then I ever will catching with it!

wow youve hit several royal flushes, i believe it is because the site's have incentive to hit maximum rake so the hands typically draw action

I have hit 3 since 2005. I hope that number goes up over the next few years. Maybe you can tell me your secret. :)

i hit a couple on pdc poker years ago and got the bonus they had 25x the blind

what was the game you were playing? and what type? like 'Tournament' or 'PLO, Holdem'

That is nuts. I don't play near as much as you but I still have yet to even come close to hitting one. Every a hand like that comes up for me, I have almost always folded before the flop.

I've hit 2 of them in less than a year. It all depends on the volume of hands that you play each day.

I had Royal only once..I was playing an freeroll and after bubble i had about 2 Big's left...caught K-10 suited, went AI, two opponents called...I had straight after turn already..but the river made me the only one winner of that hand :)

I think the odds of a royal happening in Omaha is close to to holdem. Although there are more "hands" being played at once in omaha vs. holdem, the fact that you must use two cards from your hand actually makes it happen less often (per 2 card hand). Regardless, seeing 5 a week in any variation of poker is pretty wild.

I have played well over a couple million hands, and have never had a royal flush. Ofc I run like chit though 0_o

sweet, after thinking about it, iv never hit a royal flush in a tourney at all, not even close, crazy

I couldnt hit water if i fell out of a boat

i hit 2 on carbon a few years ago and got paid 100 bonus bucks, hit a few in carbon fr as well..but still no major money to date in a mtt

Never hit one but your multitabling 8 to ten your bound to have just about everything.

I have been playing since 08 and I have only had one on fulltilt

nice one i hit them once every blue moon and usually the player will run

nice... i have hit about 5-6 total in about ten years... 7 max

also a few times the player did run as well...frustrating lol

but would rather have the mega nutz then something else

2 hit a royal flush 2 times even within the same day is phenominal!!!
