I heard they have been doing this for quite awhile ... anybody win one of these? how long did it take?
They have been doing free sngs all day for months. Won many of them. I only stopped because they just got boring with people taking them way too seriously and folding like every hand. Sometimes took way to long and just not worth it.
But defo a good way to start up a bankroll
These freerolls are great and not too hard to cash in. Hero also has a tournament where they pay 9 people $11 and another tournament where they pay 3 spots ($50, $30, $20). It's a great site and a great way to get your bankroll going in the right direction.
Yes. I've played them,,,fun but take way too long;
so you can play hero and carbon..i didnt know, i thought they were on the same network which is not allowed

time to win one of these 24 people sng ... 2 hours? 3 hours? 4 hours? If it's a slow structure where it takes 4 hours to win $2.75 thats a lot of effort for very little reward.
yea these are fun and easy to win with patience ... but agree with prawney they can take to long.

2 hrs isn't too bad for those freerolls. You can enter multiple ones so the time goes by faster, and you don't have to wait on 1 table.Quote:

I've been playing these PLO MTT's at Hero for about a month now. Many times these tournaments take less time than a SNG. As far as some folks taking the tournament too seriously, that will happen everywhere whether a freeroll or a high stakes game. I've won a few and placed a few times, as well. One reason I joined these, it was easier money than those holdem 'funstep' games, in merge and I will NOT put my own money into the site till I have to. i never heard of hero. how good are they about paying you? if you win money in a freeroll then build it up into a decent ammount of money do u need to make an actual money deposit to be able to withdraw?

Yep, the freerolls are open to USA. Take a look at the site, they offer some good freerolls, you might like it.
never played on hero poker going to have to try it out
I just tried out hero poker, but most of the freerolls said "restricted".
