The DONK word needs 2 be like the F word...... 4 adult use......

Ok so 2 many clueless noobs use the donk word 2 sound cool. It is so funny. Like every1 here at poker owned uses it so improperly. I lost KK vs AA two times all in pre flop. Then I lost another 15bbs with jj vs AK. Then I lost AK vs 6s all in pre flop. Oh I had 12k @ one point in the poker owned freeroll. Then the real lol moment. I was bb with j4 and a couple of limpers. I had open shoved a 15bb stack with 99 AQ and 7s in late position and guys had had enough. I was told by 2 people that they weren't folding 2 me again. Music 2 my ears. Ok so back to j4 in the bb. I check and flop is 644 with a spades. I tank for 3 seconds for sell-ability, and str8 jam 3k+ into a 1300 chip pot. Long story short I end up with a 1 outer as my oponent flopped 6s full. Now 2 the DONK part. Guy not even in the hand says," nice play donk." Ok so I know I come across as easily the most arrogant player here and thats cool. It's part of my competetive nature. But how can people here be so bad? Rule of the day, kids here can't say the donk word anymore. I have grounded most of you. If you think that this does not apply 2 you..... It probably does.

sorry you spent this much time typing this but this has been covered a few time already, I am sure many will their 5 points though.

In the poker community the term donk has taken on a life of its own. If anyone does anything wrong or stupid people usually just say donk.

To use another poker term.... Stop being a nit about people using the term donk loosely. Im pretty sure people are well aware that they arent using it in the absolutely correct way.

i think if ppl call u donk u can take it as compliment bcoz u took away their chips or maby u made silly mistake then no need feel bad its friendly word not big deal

Yeah the word donk gets used everytime someone loses a hand anymore.. Sad part is the new generation plays soooo badly/loosely(or to some very good) that every hand they play they could be called donks.. Pros play loosely(usually only at final table) cause they have millions in the bank or backers. Not like players online who have nothing in the bank but still play like they have millions(or dont care). The game hasnt changed EVER just the way some players play it. Most of the younger ones play the push and pray style and some bet every hand regardless of what they have. Seems either way tho WAY too many watch FT tv and think thats how the game is played..

I think that people just have to rant but I agree being called a donky when you win even if you were trying a bluff or priced in so you spent nothing and then hit gets anoying

people get mad because they think thay should win every hand they are in, then when they lose thay take it out on the person who beat them, just play poker and quit complaining when things dont go your way

Their are so many donkaments these days..

It's a little funny that donks are only donks when they win a hand. It gets old when you have to hear the whining almost every 3 hands or so.

ain't that the truth lol... but its also a great way to find out who's paying attention to whats going on around them. All they see is you winning that one hand they thought they were guaranteed to win and completely forget about all the other times you beat them because they called you down with low pair or all the times you out played them by betting them off of the best hand. If you play 1 out of 1,000,000 hands not by "the book" that's the only thing they notice and then the donk name calling begins.

well the only moment i use that world is cuse i cant figure wath went true the mind of the person i was aiming but usually ill just say like some other nice play so they think they played nicely and usualy ill be able to take the chip back or some one else on the table will get them. but im so proud when i can say this guys will give them all back and 15 min later whos out !!!! ANY WAY as some one said earlier chat should be ban either you get insulted or you cant understand wath language the others are speaking!!

i got called a donk just for the reason i was allin pre and had AA lmao its what a dumbass says when they dont know what to say
