$21k before I turn 21
I have Been playing poker in home games and charitable events since I was 18. I was a loser to start off. The past 6 months i have become a winner live.
My current bankroll is 4.1k
Stakes I play: 1/2nl and 2/5nl only if the game is SUPER SUPER SOFT
My first goal is to reach 10k and move up to 2/5nl
I have a problem with building my br due to bills: $391.74 car payment $47.24 phone bill $112.67 for car insurence plus $400 for mis expensies food, gas, beer, and other ********. That is $951 in expenses a month.
I turn 21 June of 2011 that gives me 8 months to make 17k. I hope to reach 10k by Feb or March i figure once i hit 2/5 its easy sailing from that point.
Here is My Graph the last 3 days just started making it Friday
Date Stakes Time BI P/L Strength Location
10/22/2010 1/2nl 7.5hr $600 Plus $100 Weak CCG
10/23/2010 2/5nl 4.5hr $600 Plus $900 SUPER Weak RCG
10/24/2010 1/2nl 3hr $300 Plus $235 Very Weak HG

What site do you play on?
Personally think that if you can reach 10k by feb while still using your br to pay bills at 1k/month that you are doing well.
-
Man I'd be happy with a bank roll of 2k right now.
Took some major hits this past month. I haven't tilted though and thats key

My dream is to earn a fortune from "nothing" aka play only in freerolls to make my money, then start to play micro, then ... and then become famous:D

Great job blaze.
Good luck with the bankroll. :)

Good luck man! Its gonna be tough but you should be able to do it! I did something similar a few years ago and won 10k in 6 months. SO it is possible.
-
hope you do it man in the mean time hows about a loan lol.

Well to start i'd suggest keeping your bankroll completely seperate from your bills.. Is poker all you do for money? If yes im guessing you still live at home. To run 4k into 20k in about 7 months is about 2k a month more like 2.5k or 3k if you want to deal with variance its quite unlikely to hit 7 months of straight winning, but more power to ya if thats how it turns out.
Do you have limits for your self? how much you sit down with how much you rebuy? Do you avoid other games like black jack and roullette? I had to quit casinos and goto card rooms to deal with roullette table i have no self control :D
am i correct in saying you have won 1235 in the last three days?
I haven't had to explain my winnings online so im unsure of the format.

Sound like a nice bankroll managments :)

I'd be happy if you lost that BR to me. You really should stay in school and give up poker. Your spelling alone tells me you're staying up late and missing classes.
-
I got a feeling that this guy won't come back in the forum anymore.

If you stick around, keep us updated please (Even if you go busto)

kodo's to you sir!! that's a very good winning rate you got there. but like the others said it, make sure you manage your BR well. give yourself a limit on each table, each type, and play w/ your brain + logic + math, not with your emotion tells you. also, i think if online poker is your sole income then i would suggest you pay yourself 1st. what do i mean? well. let's say your expense is 1k a month then that's 250 a week + your target saving amount (assume $100). then you need to make sure you have transfered 1400 to your personal account at the month. you could set up a payday, say the 3rd and 20th of the month. then make sure you do transfer the desinated amount to your bank account for expenses and saving. yeah, you might want to keep them money in your BR to make it look better and feel bigger. but ... i suggest you take care your financial 1st and then whatever left would b added to your BR. just my suggestions.

i made some goals for myself like and that cost me a lot.it's easier to tilt when you have a goal :)
