Has anyone played the new Full House Poker Pro on Xbo 360? For a free game it is pretty BEAST. I am using it to teach my 12 year old how to play. Let me know if you play on Xbox 360. My gamertag is xSTLsFiNeSt314x

sounds way cool!! my sons are both learning how to play poker!!
I dont think I could ever play poker video games. Its way to rigged in terms what your opponent calls you and how easily they fold. It might be good to teach a kid how to play but dont think you'd learn how to beat any game in real life.
I downloaded it, but haven't played it yet. I started a thread about it last week: http://www.pokerowned.com/forums/f4/...ive-21779.html
I played another poker game once on 360. A friend asked me to try and beat the computer on hard to get teh achievement..you had to play ABC and get really lucky & even then it was hard to win.. i don't even remember the name of it.
video game poker is a joke all luck in those games wont waste my time playing them
After playing it for a couple days i believe it is rigged. On the first night I thought it was pretty beast, that is when I first wrote about the game. Now I feel like I don't even want to teach my boy how to play using that game. To many people play to many junk hands and you can not learn that way. I would rather have him play the play money games on the BCP or Carbon....
it's linked to the mobile app, which i have played that on my phone when i first ogt an iphone...and it was just allin every single hand no matter what
eh its ok, its very clunky. i hope they put out some updates

The best way to teach a kid to play is give him his allowance, allow him the opportunity sit and learn if he wants. Then take him by all his favorite food establishments and retail outlets the next day with his earnings or lack thereof. Rinse and repeat.
Not a good way to learn to play poker, but a better time killer than candy crush or whatever the addictive mobile game of the month is... angry birds, etc.
Never had a chance to play this yet where do you go to try it out?

The level of play seems about the same as playmoney in real poker sites from what I felt. A plus though is that your boy might be more inclined to play on the xbox than the computer. Idk, I'm just saying. I thought it was fun, with avatars that you can change clothes on and chip tricks and stuff like that. It just felt like a good way to be introduced to poker if anything.
played over the weekend with my son! pretty good game!! lots of fun!!!
You guys should let your kids make their own decisions, not try to get them hooked on gambling at the earliest possible age
Carbon poker is the best way to win money in my opinion
does it have instructional guides and such? imo books + experience is best for learning. maybe this would be good for learning basic rules though?
i used to love the WSOP that came out on the PS2 but its hard to really get into when there isin't realy much at stake
It's probably fine to learn the basic mechanics with but I think someone serious about poker would quickly stop playing it.
Playing poker or any competition for that matter is meaningless without something on the line
Poker video games aren't exactly the same thing. If you want to teach, play money on an online site is the way to go. Like carbon, or pokerstars is better because of the play money sngs.
Me and my buddy get on there sometime... its just hard for me to play free poker lol
It would be nice if you could actually play this for money or xbox cash.
Phil ivey learn how to play poker from a video game and now look at him.
if it is free not worth it not real poker playing - sometimes so silly really
I've seen a few of my friends play in a few months ago. I wouldnt play it though, it looks really boring.
i played some poker on there but im usually on that call of duty...yall dont wont none...3.7kd
my first time i played, i played in the greatest ring game of my life. I stacked a guy the second hand with a royal flush over quads. (BBJ lol) sometimes there were limpers and sometimes 5bets etc. was great! love this app
way better than the reg. fulll house poker game
honestly playing any poker is practice...if u come back and think about ur mistakes and successes.
