What is your favorite classic arcade game

Asteroids, i once played for 3 hours straight on one quarter, went back to dorm, ate dinner, went back to arcade, and still had like 10 lives left. Also had patterns memorized on pacman and donkey kong. Maybe i spent too much time in arcade while in college.

I used to play alot of Street Fighter

I liked centipede alot and pacman

Back in the day, I scored over a million points on "Missle Command".

KARATE CHAMP, DONKEY KONG, n fk the damn game where u were in a dune buggy type car n goin up a mountain n had to jump over other cars n from trail to trail, help me out someone. The MORTAL KOMBATS when they hit the arcades. Few others i cant remember the names of either, dammit, sucks gettin old.haha.

Was always a beast playin pinball too.

I always prefered to play pinballl too lol, back in the day,, but i liked pacman and donkey kong, for classic ones.:)

If your talking coin slot arcade games, then by far the best one of all was Gauntlet...first 4 person RPG to come out...still play it when I find an old school arcade somewhere.

+1 for Street Fighter. I wasn't going to mention it at first because I wasn't really thinking of it as a classic, but I guess Im getting old because it definitely is. I sunk so much money into the mall arcade in Street Fighter.

Also, the Ninja Turtles 2 arcade game with 3 people playing with. So much fun having all four turtles playing together.

i used to like space invaders, loved getting their little attack patterns down and then annihilating them

Killer instinct was a great arcade game.

sonic if that counts. i'm only 21 so to me that's a classic lol. space invaders is pretty awesome too though i used to have that on ps1.

I liked break out best..one of the originals. Also pacman, centipede and a little known game which I think was call bagman.

I still have an Atari game system circa 1982, but my favorite old game is Digdug, I remember going to the arcade and turning that game over for the high score, playing it for like an hour and half. I used to kick ass on Galaga too.

Super mario is my fav classic, and its still going on the systems today :D
