Id take Stafford. He plays really well. Will be interesting if Cam can have a big season after a really good last season.
I would take matt right now i just dont know about cam
I would take Stafford right now, he is a proven winner. If I am thinking long-term, then Cam Newton is my guy, and I think this kid has tremendous potential to be a real star.
I would take Stafford cause he is gonna go down as one of the most comparable guys to Tom Brady. Cam Newton will slow down and end up like Daunte Culpepper. When Cam is 28 heisnt gonna have the speed he has now. Stafford is going to get even better by then. So Stafford fo rnow and later even though Cam is inccredible

This guy is a PROVEN winner and been successful on EVERY level he has been on.
I dont think people understand how much of a freak athlete he really is. He is bigger than the avg linebacker and much stronger and faster.
I think he def can approve his decision making through the air with more ball security but dont forget he BROKE MANNINGS TD record as a rookie. He has not been injury prone anywhere he has been, he has been taught to get his yards and go down. He did this countless of times at Auburn where he would get his 4,5,6 yards and just fall down.
He will also have weapons around him with a solid wr core and running backs galore.
Also Cam Newton just turned 22 he has ALOT of years ahead of him if he can stay healthyQuote:

Can't really bring the age into this one seeing as Stafford is only 24. Dude is hands down the best young qb in the game right now, and his stock is only rising.Quote:

I think people forget when looking at Staffords stats that alot of his yards come from lobbing a deep ball to Megatron into like double coverage, and Megatron comes down with it.
Not saying that Stafford is bad but imo Cam is just as good throwing the ball as Stafford. Combining that with Cam's athletic capabilities in running the ball it makes him the better QB to have.
Cant' say i saw a glimpse of the injuries last year. If anyone has a bigger risk of injury its cam, with his running abilities.
This shouldnt even be open for discussion honestly. Cam Newton has light years more upside and probably is already better than Stafford and has only had 1 season that consisted of a SHORT OFFSEASON, NO OTA, ECT....
I watched/went to every single game while he was at Auburn and went to 5 Panthers home games last year. Cam Newton is bigger than ANY linebacker on the field. Plus if you actually watch Cam you will see that he is one of the best in getting his yards and going straight down and not taking hits. He can clearly run over defensive backs and take/hold his own with any linebacker in the league. While Stafford gets sacked from the blindside hes dislocating his shoulder again and out for 6 weeks.Quote:

Stafford is injury prone-granted. Stafford throws the ball so no one Ive ever seen. He has a delicate soft touch that makes him deadly accurate. Cam is great but as far as career tds and rings and passing yards? I think Stafford will throw more TDs and yard sin his career. Neither one will win a ring. Stafford would win one first though. If one of the 2 was gonna win one I would say Stafford.
I would take Cam right now if we can take each quarterback and place em on any teams. Very solid stats and Matt has just been to injury prone in his first few seasons in the NFL.
