anyone here any good at bowling? i bowl in a thursday night league and a saturday morning league... my highest game is a 278 and my combined average for the 2 leagues is 196!

Im right handed. I was highly inconsistent tho. I often would have games scoring like 50. Think the highest i seen was like around 290 but lower. Most hovered in the region of 230-250 but were pretty consistent.
Did i mention i played with the bumpers up so ball couldnt go down the gutter......Just kiddin
Don't bowl that often but when I do, I could barely break 100.
damn, can you give some pointers on spinning the ball with 3 fingers ive learned how to with two but its not to accurate?
I also have troble getting spin on the ball, my friend would only use 2 fingers no thumb and get crazy spin on like a 10lb ball.
or he would launch the ball like 100 mph down the lane lol an 8-10lb ball
i would love to go drunk bowling when i was a teenager, we would get wasted and go bowling....
one time we were so drunk we left without paying, we had no idea what was going on and we left are shoes there we end up having pairs of bowling shoes lol and we cant go back b.c we left without paying
im in a bowling class in college right now and its sweet. i usually get around 120 but i used to suck lol
I bowl in a mon morn league with my ma and pop, my avg is 175, been bowling since I was 10 (I'm 39 now). My bro in law bowled a 299 twice and his dad has a couple of perfect games. My best is a 259.

My goal is to eventually bowl a 200. I've bowled over 150 a few times but i usually average around 120!
Good for you. I'm not much of a bowler myself, but I work with a guy who has 4 300 games and averages 220. He usually cashes at the nationals.
Bowled a 183 2 days ago, best game ive ever bowled!
i bowl in a leauge once a week. best game ever is 297. my avrage is 178.
not so good but im playing only one year even less.
im planning to be better in the future love this sport.

Yes i am pretty good at bowling. My high game is 300 which i have 4 of. 278 is a very good game. it took me like 10 years to throw my 1st 300 game. i had alot of 278 and 279,s in the mix trying to get my first 300. My average is 224 in both leauges i currently bowling in. 1 is a sunday morning doubles league and the other is a 5 man handicap league on Tuesday nights.Quote:

crp do u have and advice how to hook the ball from the center of the lane when theres alot of oil . and can u recommend on a good bowling ball for heavy oil and long pattern. ?

I almost had a perfect game years ago - am right handed and used a two finger ball and hooked it - missed the last two pins short - do not bowl now because of back problems but really loved it
