Huge lakers fan here. Lakers 0-2 but they shouldnt have a lot of problems as the season goes on. They have Dwight, Kobe, Nash, Gasol. If they can stay healthy, they'll be good. They just have a lot of chemistry issues right now in terms of playing together. First game D12 sucked at the Ft line-and sucked way worse than he usually does. Second game, they just turned the ball over too much. They just need to ditch whatever offense they are trying to play and put the ball in Nash's hands. They should just run pick n rolls and go from there. I think Kobe's gonna have a huge year, watch out.
They are running the Princeton offense. It is pretty hilarious. Whatever, I hate the Lakers and hope Brown continues to sabotage the shit out of his team by running an offense from the 50s that is poorly suited to the players they have. 0-82 one time, baby.
Lakers are rotttting right now, its a good bet to bet against them :D

He got hired because "he knows how to manage stars" yeah right, get the fuck outta here with that bullshit. If they ran the triangle this year's championship would be a lock.Quote:

how happy are you about their slow start to the season. I mean its only 2 games really but how long is it gonna take for these new/old lakers to gain chemistry and be able to play consistent night in and night out. Howard had a huge game 1 he was a great pick up this offseason. nash is still a great player
Will be fun to watch them this year for sure.
I like Lakers with Kobe, Fisher, O'Neal, Harry.
Lakers are all hype....too old...and thats it...Kobe is too old he is declining every year.
Nash is also old as hell they get upgrades but they are way too old......they will be like the Heat the first year too many mistakes and not in sync. fail!
Ill take an old Kobe over about 99% of all nba players. I dont know how good nash will be this year, he's never been a good defender and is really suited to a fastbreak offense. Lakers just need to starting running and get easy buckets and then run their offense. Once the defense gets in sink and Howard gets to 100%, they'll be good.
They can't run the floor with kobe nash gasol and howard. Their plan (if they are so opposed to running the triangle) should be pick n rolls on the corner with gasol and just destroy people on switches, they have so many options. If Kobe can take about 20 shots a game I think they will be a lot better.

Still can't believe they fired Mike Brown after going 1-4. Yes he was running a dumb offense. But Nash had only played a game and a half. Dwight isn't fully healed. Just seemed like such a panic move and not sure how it benefits the team. Then again, I'm fully in, and always have been "F*** the Lakers" mode so I can only hope it makes their super team further struggle.

I really like the off season moves by the Lakers. Kobe is one of my top 3 players in the nba. Guys has so much intensity and will to win. If Lebron played as hard as Kobe he would win 7 championships with the Heat.
They are NOT going to run the system Nash ran before. D'Antoni was Coach K's assistant with the national team, he knows how to coach. Mike Brown was a joke, they never should have hired him.
i don?t understand why the lakers let mike brown start the season. if they didn?t trust in his work,they should have fired him in the summer!
Mike Brown wasn?t a joke. The lakers defense was very good. the problem was the offense. he was a truly working guy who believed in the sucess of his work.
