L.A Clippers seem to be big contender this year
I did a fantasy draft with one of my co-workers, and we play each other week 1 so we already have a few bets going

knicks, heat, thunder and clippers look pretty good the opening weekend..even my hometown team which sucks won the charlotte bobcats so thats right the bobcats are in 1st place..lol
The Heat do deserve credit for their blowout over the Mavs, but I think it was more of the Mavs playing horribly than the Heat playing exceptionally. The Mavs have an entire different team this year, and it will take a few weeks until everyone gets used to each other and playing their best.Quote:

Portland beat Okcity last night. Durant looked like he was in a funk after the loss to Dallas. Lakers and blazers go at it Thursday, my blazers lost roy and still have no oden and yet they have only one loss.

Even though most people can't stand LeBron he's the best player in the league and this is coming from a die hard Chicago bulls fan. I'm more excited to see where Dwight Howard ends up rather than what happens in this short season to be honest.

Timberwolves are doing pretty good , all the games they have lost have been close. they beat the mavs by 19 and the spurs by 15.
Whats going on with the mavericks right now? I bet they are doing bad b/c of old age.
The Mavs are done, they wre so lucky to have won last year, becuase there window is shut closed now lol
The Western Conference is wide open so I wouldn't say the Mavs are done quite yet. I don't think they will repeat as NBA Champions but they might make another statement this season.Quote:

Knicks win their 4th in a row, finally finding their groove. The trio of Amare, Carmelo, and Chandler are working well.
