Yup, I just saw the movie... IMAX 3-D of course. I liked it, but damn it you know the second part is already finshed but to watch it we will have to wait a year probably.

Well I really wanted to see this on the big screen but all the reviews are terrible. And yet I've heard from at least one fan that they enjoyed it. So I'm on the fence now. lol
Decided to watch this online yesterday. I got through about am hour and a half before turning it off. I couldn't tolerate it anymore. lol Talk about stretching out a story!
The best part by far is "the riddle game" scene with Bilbo and Golem.
Still have not watched. I'm waiting for my girlfriend's willingness to go along to the cinema! HAHA
As a big fan of the LOTR series; I was going to watch it in the theater, but I think I'll wait until it comes out on BR and watch closer to the release of part 2.

Critics talked trash about it because it's almost the same like LOTR, that it's unnecessary, but i don't mind LOTR over and over again :D

The parts that were NOT like lord of the rings were good. If you want eye candy, you can go for it. Other than that, it's not exceptional.
i think the hobbit is one of the coolest things to happen for the true fans of The Lord Of The Rings movies.They announced that there making a new movie the hobbit 2 something about the hobbit escaping from the misty mountains.

Hobbit great movie
I have watched Hobbit in the theaters with friend of mine and I can say I'm not fascinated. It's all depending on a personal taste, but it wasn't a big deal for me. There were good moments, but as a whole there was something missing.
I like the new one but I am still old fashioned, I still like the animated version from years ago better!!!
