The suck out!

I finally had my chance to be on the right end of a suck out, I played the carbon $40 freeroll last night (I came in 2nd) I was running the best I've run in a while...the one hand I keep thinkin about was me calling another players all-in with Ac, 10d , only to find out I was way behind! This person had As, Ah, the flop was all clubs! the last (5th)one came on the river!!! I had a bigger stack, so I took this person out...and was saying I was sorry that I sucked out like that, then I started thinking how many times that I was the victum!!!! All in all it was nice to be on the right end of the gun for a change! My name on....Carbon is IzzyFoldin and it was a real good tournement , I had a great time....some very good players....and me!:D

suck outs can be a double edge sword... ya feel bad sometimes when they happen in your favor and your pissed when they happen to you... congrats on the suck out tho lol

Any time I suck out I just think of it as the universe trying to balance itself out. God knows I've been at the wrong end of too many.

Going out on a limb here and assuming the other guy had the ace of spades not clubs. Doubt someone would make up a story about sucking out.

Your story says you won the hand, but the cards you mention gives HIM the A High Flush, and you the 10 High Flush...

Once I had AA and was playing against AJ and AQ. The winner was the one with AJ, because he got flush for his Jack. OMG

dude that sucks. gotta keep your head up. youll win in the long run

suckouts happen all the time . you just gotta handle it the right away when it hurts most.

On juicy couple months back I ha ace ace in ring guy was pushing everything another guy called I call ace ace versus King King versus ace king I got one outed lol , today on bcp as playing ring dealt aq small .40 guy went all in he had ak I flopped queen lol

In general, I don't like hands when player completes hand with 4 cards on board and only 1 from hand. That's why I play Omaha games (Omaha, Courchevel), where you must use 2 cards from hand

There is absolutely no way you won this pot??? 5 clubs on board and he has the Ace? maybe you put the wrong hands up here cause its just not possible!!

Yeah but you have 4 cards so whats the dam difference? No u play omaha cause its more of a gamblers game not a poker players game LOL

Anytime your playing a freeroll be prepared for the suckout because its going to happen!!!

carbon poker is all about suck out... many many times

I agree.... with Carbon you better be careful when you think you've got the nuts... no going all in ever at all is my rule... cause you can be sitting with an ace high flush and somebody else will beat you with a straight flush... you can have four jacks and somebody else will have 4 queens... I've never seen anything like it in the live world of poker... you know something weird's going on when you see it happen to other players multiple times in the same tourney

Sorry about the mistake , I had the ace of clubs, his was spades, my bad.....thanks for heads up.

In general on Carbon, you want to have as few outs as possible. Get it in with like 3 outs or so, and the hand is locked. Get it in with half the deck, and good game.
