Playing in my sleep

Just won my first freeroll on Carbon, the $45 dollar starting at 3am UK Time. I was more or less asleep when it started and play with the mouse cursor over the fold button, so I could just lie in bed and fold until I got big hands.

A couple of hours later, I found myself on the final table, short-stacked, but my tight-aggressive play from earlier, which was only due to the fact that I was trying to get some sleep, meant I could steal a lot of blinds and all of a sudden I was heads-up with a massive chip lead and holding KK. I limped, my opponent raised and I went all in. The other player called with A2 and my kings held up.

congrats, don't suggest using this tactic all the time but glad it worked in your favor tonight.

Lol, nice job. At first i thought you were gonna say you had a dream that you won the $45 freeroll. Lol

there are so many donks in that free roll that u will always get called with your tight aggressive play. I like it if ur getting some hands in the right position. too many times I get AA in early position and everyone knows I have it or late position and nobody calls or raises pf.

congrats have the same problems sometimes falling asleep but still win the sngs sometimes

You should not sleep while playing pokers. Nice cash though!

many times i've woken up ina game ! and once had fallen asleep just before gametime work up 45 mins later and was up 500 chips ????

That's a really nice story, play tight aggressive more often and you will a lot of tournaments

nice good stuff wish i had the tolerance to play when i feel tired; when i do i feel like i play like crap

I actually have used this strategy a lot. Everyday for a long time i would play the 1pm PO freeroll in bed. I turn up the volume which wakes me up on my turn and I sleep inbetween every hand. It helps you to fold a lot of hands. Its just risky if you dont wake up. At the FT I wake up and run over everyone.

I usually play tight-aggressive both online and live, although I mix it up a lot so people I regularly play with, never know what I'm up to.
I actually have a reputation of being a very loose player in the local games I play, but that's mainly because people remember the times I got lucky and won with a poor starting hand and forget how I usually play.

By playing in ur sleep, u mean ur running over the tables? I can't resist acting like a nit sometimes when ur at a weak table. I know it ain't respectable but, sometimes I'm just astounded by the play or actions. Ridculousness!
