My first Royal was during my first time playing 7 card stud at the Sands in Atlantic City. No one was betting so I was able to get it on the river. No big money. Guys at the table started to say the house usaully gives rooms and dinners for Royals but the pit boss came over and said they didn't do that anymore.
I have had and seen several Royals online. I have seen 4 in live games (including my own). The last one knocked me out of a tournament at Ceasers in AC. One before the bubble. I flopped a full house and he caught a Royal on the river. See it just doesn't happen online.
i think i have only ever hit one royal ever in the 20 yrs i've been playin hold 'em. that is f-in awesome dude
