past like 5 tourneys wtf!!!
well to answer that alot! a seems to pop almost every time but dont fret kk is a great all in preflop hand!
Well that's the risk you have to face when playing high pocket pairs pre flop.
sollution stop shoving like a kid on crack
happens all the time to me it pisses me off so much
I will have to agree with this. I agree with this. I will call an all in pre flop with a pair of king's, but I do really love the Ace Rag beater of pocket king's, it just make's me excited to win all of there money with such a great hand. Ace Rag, Ace Rag, how I love you so. Ace seven or Ace - Two, but what does it matter? Did you win or did you not win? Well then, good luck to you all!
Pre flop with KK you have about 70% equity against ace rag. you'll just remember that unlucky 30% you lose, a lot more than the 70% you win. its the same when you suck out on someone (which will happen a LOT more than you think), you just remember the times you got sucked out on more.
it happens in donkey mergeville.
It depends of the structure and kind of game.
also in what kind of fase the game is.
offcourse it is so bad that you lose KK 5 times in a row.
I would trow my computer out of my window.
But yeah it is part of the game
What can ya do, gotta play the odds. Sometimes it is just not meant to be
This isnt always true cause for that average to be true you have to have some above that average and some below that average. Yes in the long run you "should" win more then 70% but in the short run you could lose 14 str8 times in a row like i have twice with KK. Then again online there is no rue shuffle so it isnt as random as some want to believe, the only true random shuffle is 7 shuffles with a real deck. I think that is from the poker bible
A lot? Maybe switch your tactics and stop getting it all in pre, at least early and mid-way through tournies....
It'll happen the next time you play me...bank on it
Yes I tend to wanna 3x or 4x KK and see flop but probably gotta call an all in...
I wish i could play so badly and run so good. Some players can. Its unfortunate because if these fish actually played well they could make Thousands of dollars because they arepredispositionedd to run good.
Don't you love when they catch a four cards on the board for a flush...and you have the second to nuts highest flush
Shoving is the right way to play this hand. It's the manipulation of poker software that accounts for this.
This happens all the time to me especially online.
lol yeah it suks but there no hand is below a suk out, kk is kinda hard to play some times, seems an ace hits everytime kk is there
Ya didnt specify, But I wouldnt shove KK EARLY in a tourney unless I was RRsed. late, maybe depending on the bubble, and the players at the table.
Poker is poker. :|
I definitely agree with most posted above. I am pushing KK every time in a tournament as long as I am not next to the bubble. With 70/30 those are good enough odds to double your stack. It may seem like it happens to you every time but it is probably not the case. I would not be upset at all to lose KK to A rag. If you are rely that concerned you can always raise like 4.5BB pre and shove on the flop. As long as there is not A.
yeah its kinda one of those crappy poker situation. depends on the table rather im shoving on just raising and cing a flop
With KK versus Ax (not including AA or AK, against 1 hand), I have won 74/109 all in showdowns. This is reasonably near my ~70% take.
With Ax versus KK (same conditions), I have won 29/91 all in showdowns. This is reasonably near my ~30% take.
Stop with all the false rigged spewing. Losing with KK 30% of the time is much more than the number makes it feel like when you get sucked out on in a tournament or something, but you are supposed to lose sometimes.
In a tournament yesterday, I was blessed enough to get AA 4 times. I only won the pot 3/4 times. The 4th time was the one I lost. I didn't even mind whatsoever because I knew I was quote on quote "due" in the sense that I was above my reasonable take and I SHOULD lose with it one of those times.
Even my ~100 hand samples above are so small, it would take tons and tons of data to get long term accuracy, however, I think speaking in terms of reasonable or not, it is reasonable to lose with KK vs. Ax several times in a row.
OH MY GOD!!! Everytime Im deep in a tounrey KK always takes me out and its always to a weak ace!!
more than once thats for sure...lol
Maybe 2 times out of 10?
I have never lost with kk ever wins evry time.
Deep breath, keep shoving.
just stay agressive homiee!!!
Ax, not including AA, wins about 30 percent of the time, so 3/10
we only remember the times we lose, not the times that it wins
It seems like every tourney I run deep in, I always go out with kings too!!
There's a reason why they're called ace magnets.
'dont go all-in pre-flop if you have a pair less then AA (dont play dumb)
Yeah, KK is a widowmaker that's for sure, I always lose with KK probly 8/10 times, it seems like. Now i play them a little more passively
