Carbon From Nothing To Something Challenge!

Please, Please, DON'T SPAM THIS THREAD

This is a challenge for myself on Carbon Poker. My account is now back to $0 as of right now. Follow me as I take my bankroll from $0 to $100 with no deposit.

How?

I will be grinding the carbon step sng tournaments everyday, I will play in every freeroll offered by Carbon and PokerOwned. When I cash in the step tournaments or free rolls I will use whatever money I earn to play in the $0.11 Super Turbo 6-Man SNG's and the $0.50 Fast Fifty SNG's until I build my bankroll to $20 and I will then start to grind the $1.00 Dollar Dazzler Turbo STT, and the $1.00 18 and 27 man MTT SNG's.

I will keep you guys updated everyday throughout the day here in this thread. Consider this my "poker journal". I'm open to any suggestons as my bankroll builds.

What am I looking to get out of this? Well of course a decent bankroll to keep plainyg online poker, prove to others that may not be able to deposit easily or may not have the money that it CAN be done, and to gain an audience as I progress here in this thread. And most important help and support with what I'm doing.

From time to time I might take shots with my bankroll, for example, playing in a MTT or two before I get over $20.

Also will be trying to do the same on Juicy (Not so dedicated to Juicy though, balance is $1.10 over there after placing 6th in the PO tourney last night there.

Play PO and u should make $100 in a month or two. may have to play 6x a week though.

I will be playing PO tourneys and I plan on playing about 4 a day, so 6x a week will be easy lol. Hope fully this will not take even one month.

GL, shouldn't be too hard once you get a solid BR started.

GL. I dont know if you should play the .11 super turbos because they are basically 95% luck and I dont know how much profit you can actually make from that. If you do play them, itd be interesting to see your stats on those - maybe you can make a decent $ playing 100s of those.

And if you are going to be playing all the pokerowned freerolls, why waste your time playing the steps (if you are talking about fun steps that is). You have to get to fun step 3 and win to make a $1. A decent cash in a pokerowned freeroll will get you started easily.

The Fun Steps are easy to me, that's the only reason, I will take your advice on 0.11 turbos and stay away from them.

making nothing on carbon to something is impossible, because you will never be able to withdraw or cashout in any way.. gl with that though.

You can cash out if you are patient ... just have to wait a couple months

Took 4th place in first PO tourney for today for $3.50

are you talking about carbon?there is no "best" way.look at the charge for cashing out.and if you do get enough to cash out,prepare to jump thru hoops and wait 2-3 months.

lol today i fell to 0 too couldn't hit shit today for my life in sitngos

No more cashes in the PO tourneys today, had a problem getting into the juicy po tourney today. So I decided to take a chance with my little $3.50 bankroll an played a 27 man SnG on carbon, I am now on the final table with 7 left an I'm in 3rd atm, hopefully a 1st place win coming up here to boost my bankroll.

Busted in 5th place bankroll is now $4.77, so upset at my last play.

what micro stakes are you playing? Ive been playing 10c and losing my ass if not by rake then by bad beats or impatience. Games are tough right now.

well done keep on i am doing this as well went up to 40 down to 10 again now back to 20....i am playing double ups most of the times

double ups are nice! Also, i like the plitchard rooms and sardine rooms. Fun step, well I don't play the same as I normally would... Seems str8 and full houses occur way more often than really what should happen. It's a promotion, to think players are getting huge hands to go over to the tournaments and pay $

Never thought of the fun steps like that but now that I think back on hands you are right.

Just took fourth in another PO tourney, BR is at $7.47

I have decided I am done with fun steps and the freerolls with thousands of people fighting over $10 lol

so what you plan to do now??

My bankroll right now is $7.47 I plan to keep grinding the private freerolls and start grinding the Fast Fifty SnG's. I just feel the private freerolls are worth more of my time than the regular carbon freerolls.

I think you are better of playing PO tournys than grinding the fun steps

good luck on this it is harder than u think....

Haven't been keeping my thread up to date, upset at myself for not keeping up with something so easy I got going, my bankroll is $12.56, will update later today after PO tourneys and some sng grinding.

So I got up this morning and just had confidence in myself, I said forget my small bankroll, I'm going to go against any bankroll management and buy into as many tournys as I can and see where it takes me.

My bankroll starting today was $12.56.

I am playing in the following:

$250 GTD - [Deep, Turbo]
$250 GTD
$100 GTD - [Turbo, Bounty]
$500 GTD - [Deep, Turbo]

I also have 3 more PO tourneys to play today.

But then this happened to make it all a good decision, I spent my last $2.20 on a 18 man SNG and took it down for $14.40 so my bankroll is now $14.41 with these tourneys left to play in, I'm up for the day already =]
