*reads rest of forum* cool i like the upgraded idea and would be more likely to play /participate in the upgraded idea format hope u work out all the kinks...

poke not everyone has thousands of points to play and it can be a good step up to earn a lot of points on your return

what about having 2 separate buy ins at the beginning of the week a "low roller" and a "high roller" you can only enter one but that way us poor members can still do it and the high rollers get to have there "high class" game they crave

I vote we take our best games, motivates members to play more than that (if you use the 4 game minimum), but that should be the bare minimum, you could incorporate the head match up too somewhere in this equation. This is getting very interesting. Cant wait to play!

FIRST HEADS UP MATCHUP!

The whole point of the idea is it's a single elimination tournament - 1 game, that's it. No aggregate bs.

Zab, people are gonna play regardless of any promotion. We're here to win money - you think people are gonna sit out the whole day because they did well at 1PM?

OK, but that would just be the final. If you came in the top 3 at 1PM it would be more beneficial to go for the grinder (or b2b) if you wanted points, they will always be worth more than a 100pt single elim tourney,

i know dude just i have seen people sit out for llbs before is all

Imagine a match-up with say azreal vs rrickir, one in england and the other on west coast of america. Theres a chance that on a given day they simply dont have a tourney where they both play so no head to head.

You want people to play as many games as possible but you cant force them to. Its tough to punish someone for winning the 1pm game and sitting out the rest of the games.

Maybe instead of taking someones best finish in the case of no head to head, you take the average of their best 2 games. So if that person who wins the 1pm doesnt play another freeroll you give them last place in the highest entry freeroll of that day. This would give the person a reason to play a 2nd game and give you a better chance of getting a H2H match.
