I think the new people don't know how it works here. I had no idea for a long time I could use my points in free rolls here till 3 weeks ago. C'mon old schoolers lets welcome the new cats.
Part of the problem is Carbon not allowing any new US players. They are supposed to start allowing them again this week, so we will see :)Quote:

Im pretty new here... So previously what was the average number of players in each tourney on carbon?
Also during the summer months people are spending more time outside and stuff. when the weather starts to get cold people tend to stay in more so more poker. I noticed that at Pokerstars with my friends. during summer I would hardly see some of them and when fall and winter came they played more.
In northern Minnesota sometimes it gets too cold to do anything outside so a lot of ppl are inside on computers, tv, etc
Usually we get 30-40
20-21 isnt great.. but the weekends are ALWAYS LOW.
I think once Carbon opens back up + the summer is over it will pick up
I'll just drop the weekends one for now (Early ones)
also when Carbon opens up for U.S. Players maybe have a mod welcome new players to make them feel welcome and want to participate. Nobody welcomed me when I first came but when people started reading my posts, I was posting stuff about poker and leaving on liners to just get points, I started to make friends here. sounds good, i cant play the early one anyway cause of workmand school. i wished i could. yesterday i missed all 4 tournys.

I see your point, see here in the states it is summer, I don't know what the weather is like in europe right now but I do believe it's cold, so that means people are spending more time indoors than out. I am sure once traffic picks up, there will be more tournaments.Quote:

this is the norm here i am a poker dealer and have seen a decloine in my room during this summer by 40% player base .... every summer fall and winter bring them all back .... thank goodness i live in montana and only have a 2 month summer lol, this is by far the best forum ive seen or been on thank you zab

From what im reading online merge is re-opening sometime this week. If that goes ahead as planned hopefully it will increase numbers a bit.
